For more than 20 years, Precious Lamb Preschool has provided tuition-free, trauma-informed early education for children experiencing homelessness throughout the greater Long Beach area.

Work alongside experienced educators in a collaborative, team-teaching environment.

Children experiencing homelessness, crisis, and trauma.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- Passion for Precious Lamb's mission
- Minimum 12 Early Childhood Education units (24 preferred)
- 1–2 years of childcare experience
- Experience working or volunteering with families in crisis (preferred)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible, collaborative attitude
Responsibilities
Team members help:
- Maintain a safe, welcoming classroom
- Support classroom routines and learning activities
- Reinforce lesson plans created by the teaching team
- Encourage positive behavior and emotional growth
- Foster a culture of learning, respect, and love
- Exercise sound judgment in every child's best interest
