Capital Campaign
Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him.” Psalms 127:3 “A Rising Tide Lifts All Boats”
Last year, we announced that our current home of 22 years was being sold by our landlord, and we needed to acquire a new location. Initially, we found what we thought would be our new forever home at 757 Pacific Ave., but God had bigger (much bigger) plans.
Our new landlord notified us that another building he owned at 1250 Pacific in Downtown Long Beach had become available. This large new location would allow us to more than double our capacity of students, ages 18 months to five years of age, who are currently experiencing homelessness!
This unique property would also allow us to not only greatly expand our operation but also to launch a comprehensive infant program serving up to 20 infants ages 6 weeks to 18 months. This new space will also host a teacher’s lounge, dining room, kitchen, indoor play area, music room, resource center, conference room, and age-specific outdoor playground.
Our Capital Campaign has raised funds toward our goal, but there's more work to do! We are committed to raising necessary additional funds to enable this property transformation and expand and enhance Precious Lamb’s operations. We still have several naming opportunities, including Pre-school, Pre-K and Toddler Classrooms, Music Room, infant centers, and an outdoor playground. The minimum recognition for our Donor Wall is $10,000. We expect to move into this new building in spring of 2025.

Our mission is to end the cycle of homelessness, one child at a time.
Precious Lamb provides faith-based, full-day, quality education and care to children 18 months to 5 years old who are experiencing homelessness at no cost to the parent. Our mission is to create lasting change by fostering faith, school readiness, and stability for families facing challenges like food insecurity and homelessness.
Every child deserves the chance to thrive, and we strive to be the first step on their journey to breaking the cycle of poverty. Since our inception, we've impacted nearly a thousand children and their families in Long Beach.
