African American historical figures

This month we will be learning about Mae Jeminson, the first African-American woman astronaut to travel to space! We'll also learn about George Crum who invented the potato chip and George Washington Carver who discovered over 300 hundred uses for peanuts including chili sauce, shampoo, shaving cream and glue.
