Story 11

The time my son and I spent at Precious Lamb has been amazing. The staff and teachers were understanding during the time I was in the midst of a custody battle with the mother of my child. Initially, my son had been attending the school for only 5-6 months when he was removed by a court order to be with his mother full time in Mammoth, CA. Axle had spent over six months with his mother, and after that period, I was granted joint custody with the privilege to bring him back to Precious Lamb School with split time between his mother and I.

The staff was able to accommodate these special circumstances during this time, and my son was able to attend school and learn the necessary foundations for life. My son was extremely happy to be back because he had missed his teachers and friends that he previously made. During that time, I had the opportunity to enroll in Goodwill Industries Certified Nursing Assistant class and earned a certificate upon graduation. Precious Lamb has been an advocate for my son and I, with both emotional support and material gifts.

In closing, I’m very grateful to everyone involved with Precious Lamb along with its donors. Just as Axle graduated in June, due to a new partnership with Precious Lamb, we found out that he was given a new full scholarship to attend Holy Innocents for Kindergarten this fall. I want to give thanks and praise to God for everyone involved in making this happen.
