Story 15

My name is Geri and I am and forever will be, grateful for the academics but most of all the support and love Precious Lamb have offered us. When I enrolled my daughter Aubrey over 8 years ago, we were in a situation where we didn’t have much hope let alone much structure. I wish I could have even made better parenting choices for my daughter at the time but I was still in the process of growing. Thank God that Precious Lamb was truly that foundation that my daughter needed at such a vulnerable time in her life. She had the stability, love and tender care from her dear teachers and I got to benefit from their Breakfast Club events where they showered us with support. Now from time to time, we go back to revisit and they treat us like family and love on Aubrey as if she was still their student. It means so much to the both of us! She still talks about her teachers from Precious Lamb and how much she loves them.

I am so grateful that after all these years that we have this beautiful relationship but also a professional one at that. I currently work at a maternity home in Long Beach, only 15 minutes from Precious Lamb called His Nesting Place. We have partnered with them for over 15 years and we continue to send our mother’s children to Precious Lamb and they love it just as much as I do! It truly is the biggest blessing to mothers in tough situations and such a vital pillar of hope in children’s lives. Thank you, Precious Lamb for all that you do and for all that you have done in our lives!
