Story 17

My name is Elizabeth and I have a 4-year-old daughter currently attending Precious Lamb.

I heard bout PL when I was pregnant and living in a local shelter. When Sunshine first attended PL she was 3 years old. Sunshine comes home happy from school, well rested, fed healthy meals and snacks. She comes home with new activities and songs she learns at school. I am very comfortable with leaving her and the teachers and staff are very helpful. Sunshine has grown so much in terms of her speaking. She is also writing words and even sounding out letters. Thanks to Precious Lamb Preschool, Sunshine is advancing at a fast rate and I’m sure will be ready for kindergarten in no time. Precious lamb has helped me when I needed food or clothing. I struggled as a single parent and they have always provided prayers for me and my family. In 2020, I was struggling with shelter and kept moving from here to there. It was hard for me to take Sunshine to school. Precious lamb always found a way to work with me and find us more stable housing. Most recently, I was struggling with paying my rent and during that time PL helped provide that assistance. I’ve also really enjoyed the events for the families and being able to connect with some of the other parents going through the same things. Thank you, Precious Lamb, for all you do!
