Story 19
My journey at Precious Lamb has been a Glory to God himself. I found this great preschool through a sober living I was living in at the time. I had lost my kids to DCFS and had finally received them back after four long years. One of my roommates recommended it. My son, James, started at the age 4 and then graduated the Pre-K class and was off to Kindergarten. Through my journey with this preschool, it built a strong foundation for my son to learn the basics and necessities of fellowship and prayer. After graduating and making friends who are still part of his story, we found a new way of life. This mom started out in a sober living, barely knowing the skills to be a mom let alone a decent human being. Now, she is a college graduate pursuing her Bachelors in Psychology and working in the field of Mental Health. She owns a home to raise those three little children who grew up with most of their childhood in foster care. My son James who is now 9 years old, always talks about his time at Precious Lamb. We will both never forget the love he received from staff and other students. Thank you for allowing God to show himself to us through your program!
Matthew 5:14-16 NKJV
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
